Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or RHEL, is the enterprise-grade version of Red Hat's open sourse Linux operating system distribution. Red Hat Enterprise Linux can be deployed on both servers and desktops, and it competes in the enterprise Linux market with the likes of SUSE Linux Enterprise, Oracle Linux and CentOS.
The objective of this guide is to provide you with some hints on how to check system version of your Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). There exist multiple ways on how to check the system version, however, depending on your system configuration, not all examples described below may be suitable.
All students must have a little understanding of computers and the passion to learn new technology.
